Integration Innovation
Today’s organizations require a number of specific tools and processes to support their operations and manage their IT resources. CoreStack integrates with many of these tools, including deployment automation tools, to help IT teams better govern cloud resources without having to modify their existing workflows.
CoreStack allows users to execute and manage orchestration and automation templates from a bank of pre-existing templates and supports hyperscaler-specific templates for AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. In addition, CoreStack users can execute templates from OpenStack and Terraform.
Tool description
OpenStack
OpenStack Heat and OpenStack Mistral are projects in the OpenStack orchestration program that provide template-based orchestration. Heat is primarily used for orchestrating the deployment of infrastructure resources in OpenStack. It allows you to define and manage cloud resources (such as compute instances, storage, and networking) using templates. Mistral is a workflow service designed for automating and orchestrating tasks that go beyond resource deployment. CoreStack’s integration with OpenStack allows user to execute Heat and Mistral templates in OpenStack.
Terraform
Terraform is an infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tool that allows you to automate provisioning and management of resources in any cloud or data center. CoreStack’s integration with Terraform allows users to execute Terraform templates in the CoreStack platform from a GitHub Enterprise code repository. With this integration, users can store their Terraform code in GitHub and then configure a pipeline that automatically pulls the code and executes it, enabling teams to collaborate on infrastructure configuration and facilitate version control and change management.

Hyperscaler Integrations
In addition to ecosystem integrations for ITSM/CMDB, vulnerability assessment, source code management, and automation tools, CoreStack provides integrations with ~80 hyperscaler-specific services across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
